…As Nigerians appeal to Anonymous to hack more website and destroy offline link
The Anonymous group of Hackers have made do their threat to hack more Nigerian Governments’ websites after their onslaught on National Broadcasting Commission website, Nigeria Police Force and others.
The Anonymous hacker group had earlier announced that it had taken down the website of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), while also carrying out a DDoS attack on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) website.
The NPF website has continued to remain offline about four days after it was brought down by group.
According to the group, the attack on Nigerian sites is part of the ongoing #EndSARS/End-police-brutality protests and demands for good governace in Nigeria.
This was contained in their tweet on twitter on Thursday.
It has been reported that the website of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been shut down.
A visit to the website of the anti-corruption agency on Saturday morning showed that it was offline.
The hacker group, which said it was carrying out the attacks in solidarity with Nigerians protesting police brutality and bad governance, had confirmed the attack in a tweet.
Meanwhile some Nigerians have appealed to the Anonymous group of hackers to take down more website and destroy the offline mode used by any organisation to operate.
