Qua Iboe Church rolls out 2020 Founder’s Day Programmes
Programmes of activities to mark the 2020 Founder’s Day celebration of Qua Iboe Church have been made Public.
The General Superintendent and Chairman of Conference, Qua Iboe Church, Rev. Ekpedeme Moffat Effanga disclosed this in a release made available to Newsmen in Uyo.
According to him , a special worship service will take place in all congregations of the church tomorrow, Sunday with emphasis on voluntary decision, spirit led operations and humble disposition on the great pioneer of the church while Monday , November 30 is for evening service in all the congregations and mission breakthrough intercessory prayer and Awareness by Evangel Group , describing the Founder’s day as the beginning of the church year.
Rev. Effanga pointed out that ” Treading the Ancient Path” taken from Jeremiah Six Verse Sixteen has been chosen as theme of the celebration, expressing optimism that God will use the activities to prepare men for an outpouring that shall result in the end time global harvest.
He noted that on December One , a special Thanksgiving service and restoration prayer will take place at Qua Iboe Church, Mkpanak, Akwa Obio Superintendency, Ibeno Area Conference by Nine O’clock in the morning.
Rev. Effanga,while paying glowing tributes to the late founder of Qua Iboe Church,Rev Samuel Alexander Bill maintained that the missionary set his foot on his field of primary assignment on Thursday December One, 1887, hence the founder’s day commemoration on December One every year.
The General Superintendent added that the 133rd International Annual Conference of the church is billed for December 7 to 11,2020 at the Church International Headquarters, Upenekang .
