2023: Forum of Supervisors, Special Advisers Adopt Pastor Umo Eno as Sole Guber Candidate
A frontline grassroots organization in Akwa Ibom State, Forum of Supervisors and Special Advisers numbering about 296 members has unanimously thrown its weight behind the PDP gubernatorial candidate for the 2023 election, Pastor Umo Eno.
The group made the decision known during an endorsement rally at the PDP/Pastor Umo Eno and Akon Eyakenyi Campaign Grounds, Uyo where they promised to mobilize, and galvanize support for Pastor Umo Eno and all candidates of the PDP.
Speaking, Chairman of the forum, Hon. Micheal Etim, said the visit was organised to join hands with millions of Akwa Ibom people to endorse, support and mobilize effectively for the success of the PDP in the 2023 elections, adding that, the future is guaranteed with Pastor Umo Eno.
Hon. Etim further prayed God to grant the PDP gubernatorial candidate success at the polls and to pilot the affairs of the State to prosperity and more development.
On his part, the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Pastor Umo Eno, commended members of the group for their initiative, commitment and support thus far and urged them to lead the campaign at the grassroots.
He urged them to return to their various units and wards to mobilize more support for the PDP.
Pastor Eno expressed optimism that with the structure of the group especially at the grassroots, he is sure of overwhelming victory for the PDP and urged the supervisors and special advisers to immediately begin to sensitise their people to go and get their voter’s card.
Pastor Eno who has enjoyed massive endorsement from a great percent of Akwa Ibom people and beyond, assured all present that he would prioritize the welfare of Akwa Ibom people including the political class, civil servants, youths, women, entrepreneurs and others, and urged everyone to vote for the PDP for continuous peace, security and development of the state.
Earlier, the State Party Chairman, Elder Aniekan Akpan applauded the group for coming together to galvanize support for Pastor Umo Eno and the PDP as a whole and urged them to be firm in their decision for the good of the state.
